For more than 40 years, Leyland Physiotherapy has been one of the area’s most trusted and valued physiotherapy clinics. Our experienced team of Chartered Physiotherapists provides personalised, evidence based treatment in a modern welcoming environment to support your recovery.

Founded in 1982 by Mrs. Jenny Wood, the clinic quickly earned a reputation for excellent patient outcomes and compassionate care. Lynn Lea joined as partner in 1987, followed by Michelle Kinney in 2002. Today, the practice continues to thrive and excel under Michelle’s leadership.

Chartered & Regulated

All of our physiotherapists are Chartered. This means we are governed by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy thereby meeting professional standards and adhering to the CSP’s Rules of Professional Conduct. All physios are also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, an independent, UK-wide health regulator.

Self Referal

Patients can self-refer to Leyland Physiotherapy for private physiotherapy without a GP referral. We are registered with all major insurance companies including BUPA, AXA/PPP, AVIVA, WPA, and Vitality Health and are accredited physiotherapy providers to Nuffield Health and Rehab Works.

Location

Our physiotherapy centre is located not far from Junction 28 of the M6 motorway. We have off street parking for those visiting us by car. Regular bus services operate via the B5256 Leyland Way – we are just a short walk from the nearest stop.

Keeley treated me with acupuncture, manipulation and prescribed stretches for a trapped nerve in my neck/upper spine. After almost 6 weeks of continuous pain she had me functioning within 2 weeks. Highly recommend!

I felt like the tin man prior to treatment all my movements were difficult and I had a limp. I now have a spring back in my step and definitely no limp.
