Leyland Physiotherapy is a well-established and well-respected clinic offering a high standard of care with the use of proven treatments for many injuries, illnesses and disabilities. We work predominantly with hands-on methods and have state-of-the-art equipment to enable us to offer the treatments which best suit each individual patient.
Our Chartered physiotherapists all have a wide range of experience, skills and specialisms, which means they can treat each patient with expertise and confidence.
Leyland Physiotherapy was originally started by Mrs Jenny Wood back in 1982. Because of the hard work she put in, and the great success she had with patients, the practice quickly grew and expanded into being one of the most trusted Physiotherapy providers in Lanacashire.
Jenny originally worked as the lead physiotherapist at Euxton Hall Hospital. Leyland Physiotherapy soon became well-established due to her contacts with leading local Consultants and GPs.
Lynn Lea worked alongside Jenny, as well as being the lead clinician at Fulwood Hall Hospital. She became a partner at Leyland Physiotherapy in 1987. When Jenny retired in 2002 Michelle Kinney, who had joined the practice in 1997, became a partner in Leyland Physiotherapy.
Since then the practice has expanded and now includes an office manager and eight experienced Chartered Physiotherapists .The premises have been completely refurbished so that we can offer four fully-equipped treatment rooms.
Lynn decided to retire after 38 yrs of success as a physiotherapist, but the business continues to grow under the care of Michelle Kinney.
In the 36 years we have been in operation, we have always offered a professional and friendly service.
